Internet is becoming a new digital divide tool. Megacorporations truth about enzyte say what we might see or no Interesting. Digital divide is reasob wgy you cannot access particular service. Only because you are accessing internet from wrong part of world. It's your IP adress who makes you unworthy. IP seggregation is becoming like racial seggregation. Artificial creating of digital divide is shown in reality by prohibiting czech users to use services which are accesible to users with "better" IP adress. Silly activity now includes Microsoft. It's Live Search xRank says to czech users "System xRank is not supported in your place". Maybe there is some meaning in all this. Maybe Microsoft is not able to see what they are doing. The same silly acting can be seen from Google. It forces anybody with czech IP adress to use it's czech language services. Or in other sample, it filters search results for german users so they cannot see the content which could be "wrong" for them. Exprienced internet users will be able to get over those artificial limitations. They will just choose some proxy on other end of world. Either freely accessible, or they will just pay few dollars to have the privilege. Privilege that has been revoked by mighty megacorporation. It frightens me. It starts with different search results. Based on what particular megacorporation think it's right to provide for particular users. Particular content is hidden from groups which are even unable to see that they were stripped from their rights. And it continues by prohibiting usage of web service as whole, again based on nationality or language. If we call them "club account", they should support admnistration by more DA members and adding a pictures to them would honor the original owner and picture - mainly fav-ing the picture in Club needs to go automatically to proper person. The latest is the main problem. I am faving many pictures just by drag-dropping them (collecting) without even opening them. And even if i open the picture, most of the time i dont pay enough of attention to text bellow the picture, if i like the picture, i just hit Fav link.And that's it. Anything beyond that is nuissance. All those club admins are doing great work and helping greatly in showing pictures, which we would never find. I found many great pictures only because they were shown in clubs, news or journals. So clearly, DA is great site, but it really needs a CLUB like features. |
